I am a clinical psychologist and have been in private practice in Atlanta since 1984. My experience includes private clinical practice, teaching, and giving speeches. I have taught and given speeches on communication skills for the last 23 years. My clinical practice is varied, including working with adult depression, counseling people dealing with major life losses such as divorce, death, disease and infertility. I also work with people who would like more satisfaction in their lives in general. I see people in individual therapy, run therapy groups, and work with couples. The therapy process can bring energy and new focus to your life. We work together to come up with ways to think about and act in your life to bring this about for you. Your therapy appointment is confidential and private. It's very important for you to feel comfortable and secure in your relationship with your therapist. Providing that for you is my goal in working with you. Thinking about going into psychotherapy is a big step. Essential to that step feeling right to you is to find a therapist with whom you feel a good connection. Sometimes people meet with several therapists in the course of finding the right fit. If you have any questions, please contact me.
